ABOUT/ Introduction

VISH is a local NGO, incorporated in 2018 in South Sudan with relief and rehabilitation commission as Vision for Health, dedicated to provide relief, rehabilitation and development assistances to improve the lives of people suffering from the prevailing Natural/ man-made disasters.

We are non-partisan, non-profit, non-political but neutral organisation with a group of young professionals and experienced work force and broad base grass root grid.

VISH Prides its self with swift and flexible response to address some of these humanitarian Crisis, and hence giving hope to the hopeless, voice to the voiceless, and needs of vulnerable and marginalised communities in hard to reach locations in South Sudan

We strive to improve the quality of lives of the underserved populations by providing and promoting a comprehensive and integrated community-focused/driven Interventions and practices in support of the government, partners, and Donor efforts in South Suda

We envision an empowered, healthier, productively self-reliant and resilient society that peacefully coexists for the social and economic growth of the South Sudanese united by shared values for development.

We strive for a healthier and prosperous society that promotes good health for all by having equitable access and opportunity for basic services, through inspiring and supporting a diverse community.

Strategic Goal

To contribute in improving quality of lives and social economic status of the people of South Sudan especially vulnerable children, women and men in heard to reach areas and communities hit by disaster

OUR STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

Objective 1
To improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized people by increasing access to and utilization of basic services like WASH, FSL, Health& Nutrition and capacity strengthening

 

• To increase access and use of much needed WASH services in communities, schools, Health facilities, institutions of focuse by 35% by 2021
• To increase access to and demand for sustainable FSL product and services in communities, and other targeted persons in counties of focus by 25% by 2021
• To increase access to and demand for nutritional products and services for children, women and other targeted persons in counties of focus by 25% by 2021
• To Increase access to disease preventive and curative services(Primary Health Services-Maternal and Child Health Services) for children, women and men by 25% by 2021
• To improve access to equitable delivered basic ,livelihoods and vocation educational services for vulnerable and marginalised population especially youths,Girl-child in counties by 25% by 2021 .

Objective 2.

To inspire, equip and mobilize the wider community in South Sudan to embrace social justice and peaceful coexistences.

 
• To increase and promote access to social protection, GBV, peace building services for children, women, and other vulnerable persons in counties of focus at least by 20% by 2021

Objective 3. To increase financial and organizational capacity, Profile and strengthen accountability to enable achievement of Objectives 1 & 2
  • To strength organisation capacity to effectively and efficiently, account,governor, lead and manage the VISH programmes
